Asuka Thermal Base-Layer Top

The layer
A thermal base-layer top nobody sees
It is close through the body and arms, so it disappears under whatever goes on top.
The round neck is cut low enough to stay hidden under a shirt collar.
Black under dark clothes, white under light ones, and nobody is any the wiser. It is the secret to staying warm all winter without looking bulky.
The feel
Soft against the skin all day
A fine, smooth knit lightly brushed on the inside, made to be worn straight against the skin.
There is nothing heavy at the seams to press into you under a fitted top.
It keeps you warm on cold commutes, frosty walks and chilly offices without adding bulk. It is a real everyday essential.

The fit
Cut short on purpose, M to 2XL
The length runs 51 cm in M to 54 cm in 2XL, shorter than a normal top, so it does not bunch under a high-waisted trouser.
The sleeves are long, 56 to 59 cm, so they stay down when you reach.
Take your usual size; going up defeats the point. Choose your colour above. It is simple and useful.
From Maria & Denis
A thermal base-layer top that goes under everything from October onwards — the quietest thing we sell and probably the most used. The trick with a base layer is that it has to be genuinely thin, so you can still get a jumper over it.
White, black, grey or khaki, in sizes M to 2XL.

See how it fits
The slim fit, the curved shaping seams and the rounded hem, in black by a London window and in khaki at home.
Why you will love it
Thin enough to wear under anything.
Brushed inside, smooth against the skin.
Cut short so it does not bunch.
Long sleeves that stay down.
Four colours, sizes M to 2XL.
Fabric & care
Fine knit, polyester, lightly brushed on the inner face.
Machine wash cool. Do not tumble dry. Worn next to the skin, so it wants washing more often than the things that go over it.
Size guide
Measurements are of the garment, laid flat, in centimetres.
| Size | Shoulder Width | Bust | Sleeve Length | Length |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| M | 35.5 | 82 | 56 | 51 |
| L | 37 | 86 | 57 | 52 |
| XL | 38.5 | 90 | 58 | 53 |
| 2XL | 40 | 94 | 59 | 54 |
Cut close, as a base layer should be. Take your usual size — going up defeats the point of it.
Allow 1–3 cm either way — these are measured by hand.
