Men's Lace-Up Shoes: Brogues & Derby Shoes
Our men's lace up shoes cover smart and casual days alike. Choose two-tone Oxford brogues, a suede or leather-look derby, soft leather moccasins or a light knit pair. Laces let you set the fit across the top of the foot.

Mens brogues with a wingtip
The Oxford Two-Tone Brogues have punched detail tracing the wingtip and contrast leather-look panels in black or auburn. Closed Oxford lacing keeps the shape sleek, so they suit a suit as well as dark jeans.
Mens derby shoes
Derby lacing opens wide, so the shoe feels roomy over the instep. The Salisbury is soft pigskin suede in khaki and sand with a contrast stitched welt, while the Kensington has an embossed grid on a leather-look upper.
Moccasin-style lace-ups
The Florence is genuine leather with moccasin stitching and a tan sole, also offered with a hidden lift. The Bavarian has thick decorative stitching around a moccasin toe.

The pair we wear every day
For long days on our feet we choose the Chiswick: a breathable knit upper that flexes with the foot, a cushioned sole and a leather-look heel tab, in eight colours including a wingtip version.
Caring for suede and smooth uppers
Brush suede when it is dry and keep it away from heat; wipe smooth uppers with a damp cloth. Delivery is free across the UK and you have 30 days to return.
Frequently asked questions: Men's Lace-Up Shoes: Brogues & Derby Shoes
How do you wear brogues?
Wear brogues with a suit or smart trousers for work, or with dark jeans and a knit at the weekend. Two-tone brogues are a statement, so keep the rest of the outfit simple. Show a little ankle or wear plain socks that match your trousers.
What is the difference between Oxford shoes and brogues?
Oxford describes the lacing: the side panels are stitched under the front, so the lacing closes neatly. Brogue describes the decoration: punched holes along the seams and toe. A shoe can be both, like our Oxford Two-Tone Brogues with a wingtip and closed lacing.
Can you wear brogues with jeans?
Yes, brogues look smart with dark or mid blue jeans that sit just above the shoe. Choose a straight leg rather than a very wide one so the brogueing shows. Brown, auburn and two-tone pairs feel more casual than plain black.
How should you tie the laces on brogues?
Straight-bar lacing looks neatest on brogues and Oxfords, with the laces running across in straight lines. On derby shoes, criss-cross lacing is fine because the open sides show less. Pull the laces evenly so the shoe holds the foot without pressing on the instep.
