The stripes
A varsity v-neck jumper with contrast stripes
Contrast stripes edge the deep V, the cuffs and the hem, giving the jumper its sporty, preppy character and drawing the eye to the face.
They are knitted in, not printed, so they stay crisp.
Black and white on the white and apricot, white and pink on the pink, white on the navy: four classic combinations.
The neckline
A generous V
The deep, wide V goes over a T-shirt or a collared shirt, or on its own; slipped off one shoulder it becomes playful.
The ribbed neckband holds its shape and lengthens the neck.
The medium-weight rib has a lovely chunky texture and feels soft rather than scratchy against the skin. With a white tee underneath, it looks crisp.
The fit
Relaxed and slouchy, S to XL
The bust measures 106 cm on the S up to 122 cm on the XL, and the length is 62 to 65 cm. Take your usual size, or one down for a neater fit.
Wear it over a white shirt with jeans and loafers, or with a pleated mini skirt.

Hand wash cool or use the wool cycle, inside out. Reshape while damp and dry flat — hanging a wet knit stretches the shoulders. No tumble dryer.
